By accessing or using CivicBot ("the Service"), operated by Centricity GIS, LLC ("Centricity GIS," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a municipality or other government entity ("City"), you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
CivicBot is a SaaS platform that enables cities and municipalities to deploy AI-powered 311 service request chatbots on their websites. The platform includes:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice to active subscribers.
To use CivicBot as a city administrator, you must create an account. You agree to:
Accounts are for use by the registered city only. Sharing credentials between cities or organizations is prohibited.
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial at the Professional plan level. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, the account will be paused unless a payment method is added and a plan is selected.
CivicBot offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Plan details, pricing, and submission limits are available at civicbot.centricitygis.com.
Monthly plans may be upgraded or downgraded at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method. All fees are in U.S. dollars.
Government entities purchasing CivicBot for official municipal use may qualify for tax exemption. All customers are provisioned as tax-exempt by default. Contact us if you require documentation for your records.
We do not offer refunds on annual plans except where required by law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 30 days at info@centricitygis.com.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without notice.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
As a city administrator, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of CivicBot complies with all applicable laws, including those governing the collection and handling of resident personal information.
You retain ownership of all data submitted through your CivicBot instance. We process that data solely to provide the Service.
The CivicBot platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation, is the exclusive property of Centricity GIS, LLC. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription term, solely for your city's internal municipal operations.
You retain all rights to your city's branding, logo, and configuration data. By uploading content to the Service (such as your city logo), you grant us a limited license to use that content solely to provide the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Centricity GIS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Upon termination:
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Utah County, Utah.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
